Education & Experience

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University. Since completing my education, I have spent six years working in Christian settings as a mental health professional.

While the bulk of my experience lies in individual counseling, I have had the privilege of working with families and in group settings as well. I have taught classes and led workshops for schools and churches, and worked in multiple Christian counseling practices.

New Mind Counseling was formed with one goal in mind—to continue to bridge the gap between Christian faith communities and quality mental health care. I am most passionate about connecting my clients to the endless resources that are found in God’s Word and a relationship with Him.

About Me

I am a husband, father, outdoors enthusiast, Seattle sports fan, and self-appointed food critic. When I am not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter around Skagit Valley, kicking a soccer ball, and hosting impromptu game nights.
